I'm not a player of 40k, but I've always enjoyed the novels. Custodes were so fucking cool.

Did you see who recently bought a lot of Games Workshop? Blackrock, of course. Then, just a few months later, this shit. This is definitely not a coincidence.

What bugs me about this, as someone who knows a lot about the lore of this IP... is that there is already a sort of female counterpart to the Custodes- the Sisters of Silence. The SoS are fucking cool and badass. Later, we got the Sisters of Battle, who are also awesome.

There's an in-universe explanation for why there aren't a whole lot of female superhumans in the galaxy. The technology to produce space marines is barely understood, and it only works on males. But that doesn't mean there aren't a lot of very important and beloved female characters in the universe.

I haven't watched South Park in a while, but I saw a clip recently of I guess Cartman becoming the executive at Disney? The solution he offers to everything is "Put a chick in it! Make her gay!"

TLDR if I remember it correctly. Men become space marines through the implantation of the gene seed organ, as well as a bunch of other implants, both organs and biomechanical in nature. The gene seed descends from the primarchs, and as such makes space marines more like their respective primarchs.

So what happens when you take male DNA and try to convert a women with it? Well they die, horribly. There can't be female space marines as it would require a completely female space marine chapter, with a female primarch.

This carries its own set of issues as the primarchs while genetically engineered, are also "sons" of the Emperor meaning they share a good chunk of their DNA with the Emperor. This is part of the reason why there's no female primarchs.
Another reason is it would create a race of superhumans that would be self sustaining and would replace humanity. Which defeats the entire point of creating the space marines to defend humanity.

That's about it, yeah. It's worth noting the state of humanity's knowledge at this point in history:

There was a time, around 20,000 AD, where humanity had spread across the galaxy and were coming up with unbelievable technology. An example would be the "Sun Snuffer", which is a massive cloud of nanites which can be released near a star. The nanites will swirl around in its gravity and eventually literally snuff the fucking sun out, leaving any planets in that solar system completely destroyed.

This time period would go on to be known as "The Dark Age of Technology", simply because of the horrors that mankind was able to produce. It eventually came to a head when AI (the men of iron) rebelled. Humanity put them down and made AI absolutely forbidden. Millennia pass. Humans fear what they built in the Dark Age. Superstition takes hold- the Mechanicus is born.

What's so amusing about all of this to me- humanity has wondrous technology that can both destroy and create. But nobody understands how it works, and it's forbidden to try and improve upon things, and studying technology has a very strict set of guidelines.

In the context of Space Marines, the gene seed (the organ which is implanted into a 5-8ish year old boy) is barely understood. They know what it is, the purpose it serves... but they don't know how to reproduce the same results the Emperor did with his Primarch project. I love the irony.

That could be a whole novel series. First female space marines. They start fucking and make babies. But they're incest babies because they too are related to the emperor. Then they demanded a divorce and leave with the kids to become a new faction like the chaos marines but parodying single mothers.

Add an interlude where the baby crazy female space marines summon Slanesh while they have their orgy.

I'm not a player of 40k, but I've always enjoyed the novels.

Read up to book 5 of the Horus Heresy and got bored. Whole book got bogged down with pussy-assed artistes and other assorted faggots. Any recommendations of other WH40K series' to try?

This is definitely not a coincidence.

It certainly isn't a cohencidence. They do this shit on purpose so that you cannot escape politics in anything. There's also another purpose in that they get to re-write history, fictional or not.

I could offer a better recommendation if you can tell me what you're looking for- there are so many novels, and they all read very differently. Some read like military history, some read like a bad acid trip, some read like a horror novel, and some have a comical edge to them.

The Commissar Ciaphus Cain series is great. It's funny while still holding the 40k spirit. It's about this Commissar Cain, who is essentially just extremely lucky, stumbling his way into becoming the most decorated soldier in the Imperial Guard. There's great action, great laughs, and Cain is a beloved character among fans. Maybe check out book one of that?

It sounds like you were reading the books about the Emperor's Children during the Horus Heresy. I can agree that the pacing is a little off for those two books, but you're doing a real disservice to drop it. All the artsy faggotry is building to something, a scene which is fucking mind-blowing. It's one of the best stories about how the influence of the lust god Slaanesh operates- watching the glorious Emperor's Children and all these incredibly talented artists slowly turning into degenerates that grind up dead people and synthesize drugs from their corpses for fun.

The Commissar Ciaphus Cain series is great.

I'll check it out, thanks.

Sounds like adrenochrome.

niggers as space marines
...Should we tell him about the Salamanders?

[ - ] BulletStopper [op] 0 points 1 weekApr 22, 2024 21:00:15 ago (+0/-0)*

So do you want externinatus? Because that's how you get exterminaus.

I started playing tabletop games like "Squad Leader" with my sons back in 1987, when they started getting old enough to show an interest, understand, and enjoy them. I found them to be a useful teaching tool. This was followed by ASL, Starfleet Battles, and eventually we started playing WH40K when they started seeing it in our local hobby shop. And I can tell you with utmost certainty, that I don't remember any niggers being in the empire.

Earliest reference I could find was from 2015:
https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Deathfire_(Novel)

"The Salamanders": "Originally known as the XVIIIth Legion, the origins of what would become the Salamanders are largely shrouded in mystery. Sometime in its history the Legion was named the Dragon Warriors, but it was a name few knew or spoke of."

Figures.

It was probably 2015 when they added niggers.

I didn't find anything too jewy about the author, beyond his book obviously, and he looks more like a soy cuck.

[ - ] TheYiddler 0 points 1 weekApr 23, 2024 03:40:43 ago (+0/-0)

What little I know about WH40k is that chaos can cause any change. So making fresh niggers is consistent with lore.

[ - ] BulletStopper [op] 1 point 1 weekApr 23, 2024 04:31:12 ago (+1/-0)

Given what we already know about actual niggers and actual nigger history, it's obvious that they would have been a chaos faction.
