Carried my wife of 30 years to the door of the ER with chest pains. Sat in the parking lot for 14 hours before they called and told me she was stable, and being admitted. They would call me when she would be released. Daily calls to be passed around and sit on hold to be told she was improving. Finally got her home 8 days later. Don't think I'll be forgetting or forgiving any of them.

That is a huge fear of mine lately since my father passed away. Has me reevaluating everything in my life. The day one of us has something serious happen is not something i look forward to. My wife is everything to me and i hope i die first honestly because i can’t imagine the loss i would feel. But then i start to think it unfair to pass that burden onto her.
