My wife is clearly cheating on me

Not that I have much proof to go off, but as they say projection is admission of guilt. I have noticed some subtle signs though that something isn't quite right. The first thing is she changed the pin code on her phone, which was weird to me. She's had this pin code for many moons, and all of a sudden she just changed it. Not that i ever looked at her phone i just noticed the hand pattern she uses wasn't the same as prior.

The second thing is she used to have me on screensaver, and now its just a regular old standard screensaver. I thought this was interesting, since there wasn't really anything that prompted this change. The icing on the cake that's made me thing something is afuck is that she routinely takes off her wedding ring. She has it off more times than on nowadays. She says its cause it doesn't fit right, but she hasn't taken it to a jeweler or gotten it resized. From what i gather, the ring fits just fine. Then there's the chores, they just arent getting done anymore. It's like this woman has completely given up on anything house or marriage related.

Now personally, women will never in a million years admit to cheating. Even when they tell you they would never cheat on you, they could be getting raw dicked by who knows. Even when caught, they will happily blame you because so is the way of women. But I can't help but notice a pattern here.

If you get divorced, use a mediator not a lawyer.

You can find someone trustworthy, if she is not.

She doesn't tend to keep journals or anything, her behavior lately has become very ... confusing to say the least. It almost feels like im dealing with someone with BPD who says they love me, but then they have insane tantrums. It's like the emotional maturity of a 2 year old in an adult body. What makes this really weird is these werent really problems before, so im confused where these issues came from.

Get a PI and get proof before you do anything. Proof won't help you legally BUT it does give you the moral high ground for every single discussion that you might have in the future and this is incredibly useful. You don't want to get repeatedly hung up arguing over whether she cheated or not. Instead you can focus on moving forward, whatever form that might take.

And you may actually find out that she's not cheating, or hasn't cheated yet but is toying with the notion, or or or. Either way you need to know for sure.

we are a no fault state, so yea it got him out of alimony payments but he ended up having to pay child support AND for the majority of day care since his wife is now going back to work even though my retired aunt watches his kids on his weeks. /shrug

Proof of infidelity has no baring in divorce proceedings. Courts today all lean toward favoring the chick so she has to be clearly shown to have participated in some very awful behavior -- rampant drug use, child neglect, murder, etc -- for it to have any weight in a divorce.

Proof can be useful in other ways though. So yes, hire a PI.

Clearly? She might be but individually all those things can be explained away - someone else found out her pincode and she had to change it but if you ask her she'll tell you the new one. Phone fuckery has reset my screen saver and phone background before and apathy took me months to fix it (just looked and background is still generic but I did fix the screen saver back to the wedding pic).

The ring may fit fine at certain times of day or in certain weather. She may be hoping she can lose the weight and not bother resizing. Have you taken her to get it resized or buy her a new one to wear in the interim?

Maybe she's pissed at you not helping with chores and seeing if you will pick up the slack? Maybe she's doing chores you don't see and never do and leaving the ones you do see for you. Passive aggressive but still.

You might be seeing a pattern where none exist. I would start with the ring (take her to the jewellers) or phone password - make an excuse to use her phone (yours is not nearby or lost) and just casually ask what her pin is in as if you forgot or never knew in the first place.

If you still feel she is cheating after those two things are looked into then get a PI.

Last wedding I went to, the marriage all our most recent kids are from (3 kids below 3 years old), she is saying she is done and it boils down to she doesn't really dig him anymore.
