Gonna tell you again, get on ancestry, put the AI to work. You're about to find out that all kinds of illustrious people caused you. It is ridiculously fast now.

There is no reason to doubt how hard the computer is working to make sure it is making the right connections. It will tell you if there is ever a discrepancy. If you start with your parents it will immediately show your grandparents. Right away you have a reason to believe in it. Not long after that you will be in the sixteen hundreds finding out about all kinds of fascinating people.

"But dindu they can't really know that!!"

Yea they can idiot. Of course the paper system would be impossible to sort through. That's why they made computers. And now they're really smart. This is one application in which they shine, and it gives more meaning to life than anything I've seen. And it's free.

How it works
Get it started with your known roots. Hit the arrow above the person you know, it is an ancestor they found. Review the hint and approve of it. It doesn't go wrong. You will notice you hit a lot of dead ends. That's another reason to believe in the computer. It doesn't offer false information. It is referencing innumerable other trees.

"But dindu I still feel cynical about this!"

Don't be gay. Start the tree. I just followed a lead to a no less than 20 dead ends. But one branch goes back further than the others. And then that one becomes a dead end too. But along the way I learned about 30 ancestors. An innkeeper from 1700. Wow. Hi grandpa. I'm your faggot nazi grandson from the future.

I am curious and in a perfect world would give it a try but my opsec doesn't allow for such things. I dropped off the internet in 2010 or so. The world thinks I'm dead for all they know. I like it that way.

I did someone else's tree for them. So I think if you have any email even if it's fake you should be able to get started with your parents without involving yourself

OP must not be aware that Ancestry is owned by Blackrock.

Interesting. I'd love to find out about my distant French ancestry. I know we had an ancestor recruited by Henrietta Maria to fight for Charles I.

Get started it is nothing but fun.

I had one relative from france. And we were stuck there on the french line. When it finally found a parent it opened up a piece of my french line. Now I know of dozens of french people I am related to.

On the english side, most of my lines were welcome. So i'm back to the year 1275 for England.

I actually have personal family records that go back to Europe many many MANY generations.

Ancestry matched them well

And once you get back you Europe the church records of who married who and who gave birth to who are very well kept for hundreds of years.

Thank you. I need reason to believe in what I'm finding so that helps. It is mesmerizing.

[ - ] Dindu [op] -2 points 1 weekApr 19, 2024 06:19:53 ago (+0/-2)

I haven't protected myself in any way. So they know everything about me. This is one way that I can use their system to benefit myself

Ancestry is for drooling retards who want to give money to kikes... I'll trust people before I ever trust AI.

Clovis Merovingian is my great grandfather. So are Charlemagne, William the Bastard and Æthelwulf of Wessex.

Mine was so regular and local to northeast England it's crazy. Just total consistency and then America chaos.

don't give them your info.

[ - ] Dindu [op] -1 points 1 weekApr 19, 2024 10:49:58 ago (+0/-1)

Uh I'm stealing their info.

What is going to happen with this generation. Atheiests, sex changes, adoptions/foster care, muliple marriages, faggetry... How does one put that in a tree? I wouldnt really trust ancestry.com For myself I get conflicts on a couple branches, what os nice is if you can download the pages of census, or church records and put that into your own genealogy computer program.

[ - ] Dindu [op] 0 points 1 weekApr 19, 2024 09:21:29 ago (+0/-0)

I agree the last 100 years can have poor records on account of degenerates. But if you know the last 100 years it gets a bit easier.

The cool thing is the other trees. That is what makes the process so swift. I would hate to have to go off my own records which I have had to do for a couple crucial points.

Overall there are so many hundreds of people involved in your lineage that although some of them might be incorrect (wife lied about who the father was etc.) So many of them are correct that you are undoubtedly learning something. I urge anyone to let the AI do its thing and help it along by affirming its findings. Even if you pretend it is a video game or logic puzzle it is far cooler than one.
