The article suggests theyre changing how they order food in order to mask that activity however they cant do the opposite.

it is but here is where the argument with my kid (who told me about the pizza meter) came in... wasnt there a documentary years ago that showed that the pentagon had their own food courts inside of the building? Why would they need to order out?

The Pentagon houses approximately 24,000 military and civilian employees and approximately 3,000 non-defense support personnel.

Demand greater than supply capability. The food courts probably slow way down at night, so an unexpected surge would probably overwhelm them. Also, pizza and war is a thing.

maybe they're like a mall food court. starbucks franchises staffed with contractors, etc. open 7am - 7pm. like they're burning the midnight oil plotting their plots. a tranny with a chest full of ribbons can get HONGRY at 1am after spending all night exploding "our democracy" across the face of our poor battered earth.

Aside from there being multiple pizza events, the main reason the doomsday clock is more accurate is because it's adjusted after the fact.
