The road isn't just for cars. A horse, bike, Amish buggy, pedestrian, whatever are all allowed on the road. It is inconvenient, but it is what it is.

Cyclists are absolute twats quite often though. Any "vehicle" on the road must follow the rules as a car does.

I miss it.
I used to ride about thirty to fifty miles a day after work, 75 on Saturday, and Sunday off.
I started cycling as endurance training for boxing.
I sucked as a boxer but I was legitimately competitive as a cyclist.
Raced centuries and ultra centuries for a few years - even did a couple 250 mile races.
Then the bitch in the corolla... I was literally one block from my house.
