This is one of the reasons to avoid biometrics on every device.

Something you "are" (fingerprint, face scan, eye scan, DNA etc) is never protected, but something you "know", the password, can never be compelled.

Forgetting a password is also a thing.

GrapheneOS has a setting to automatically reboot the device every X hours, which makes the thumbprint not work
