I'm aware that counterfeit Olive Oil is a real & very prevalent thing, I had real Olive Oil when I went to Italy
in the 70's when I was a boy. I've tasted very few Olive Oils in the states that compared to the taste of the stuff I had in Italy. There are some small niche Italian grocers where I live, that carry Olive Oil that's pretty damn close to pure Olive Oil.
