Does this FISA warrant bullshit allow the government to spy on you just because you get a call from a pajeet scammer?

If you get a call from a foreigner this law allows them to go through all your shit even though it's clearly un-Constitutional. They're going through our shit anyway, I just wonder on why they're so intent on having this law there.

Technically speaking, it allows them to ask for anything from anyone, with zero oversight or recourse, and prevent anyone involved from disclosing it.

IE: a single "investigation" into Verizon would require Verizon to share ALL DATA ON EVERYONE, SINCE EVER.

It's an unlimited, no-warrant world of dragnet surveillance.

The best part? NSA & CIA have been doing this for 40 years already, this is just "legalizing" it. It's pure housekeeping. Probably proactively because something inconvenient and/or annoying is about to come out anyway.

They probably have all of these routers hacked and have all the data. They just need a paper trail for how they obtained the data.

I stand corrected.

They aren't doing this for no reason. Sure, the NSA and CIA have been spying on people since their inception. Yes, "they're" going through our shit anyway. But the point of this is manpower, they need more "they"s. You can't have tens of thousands of employees doing illegal shit like this without it getting out. But you would need tons of resources to really spy on a whole country the size of America.

They're laying the groundwork for the future, the true surveillance-state. Where it's industrialized.

Every western nation is run by an insane religious cult and criminal organization. Every single other party isn't another party.

Maybe finally the internet will go full TOR and some actual normal people will be on it. It makes sense that accessing things on the internet shouldn't produce an infinite amount of metadata. That should be standard internet. If I was providing WIFI I would only be allowing people to use tor. I don't need metadata I don't care about and getting weird requests for data I don't have time to try to extract from a router.

BTW most of these store operators wouldn't know how to assist. They are basically going to steal your router without a warrant in lou of being able to help them.

You're right about the "infinite data" part, but think about who created the ARPANET that morphed into the internet, and why that happened.

The version they rolled out to us is more sophisticated, but same concept. Herd management.
