Subscribe to this, ads all over the place, unskippable commercials, forcing you to fill out ad surveys. Would be surprised youtube makes any money

YouTube has always run at a loss, the control is exactly why Google subsidizes it to this very day.

The crazy thing is it's all a lie. They don't need to penny pinch peanuts out anyone's pocket since they can get infinite government money. Maybe some analyst calculated they can instill more brand loyalty ("gonna watch it cause I am already paying for it!") by selling subscriptions.

US tech companies work just like chinese tech companies for the state and by the state. It's a data mine like all their services are. What else would you expect from literal CIA program like big G.

I know they ran at a loss initially, but I thought they eventually started making a profit. Also, the recent push to harass users who use ad blockers sounds desperate, and shows a willingness to risk alienating viewers in search of profits.

I think its a release valve, have people "vent" on youtube instead of creating any meaningful change. With the way the algorithm works, anyone whose too out there can be shadow banned and deplatformed in an instant

jewtube blocks the ad blocker in brave, but if you use a greasemonkey script to block the ad blocker blocker. You efectively get an an ad blocker blocker blocker.

Although, recently found this video where the ads appear for two seconds before my ad and script blockers shut it down. Not sure what's going on with that. Otherwise, no ads or bullshit.

Lately ads have been creeping back in between filter updates. Youtube has really been trying to crack down.

Yes, you might need to flush cache but it still works perfect here.

you can find filters to add and up to date info on the reddit ublock thread, sadly there is nothing like that on here.
