- Start with the brand of computer - specs Amount of Memory, Hard drive type/size - current O/S - Error/Warning messages... - ETC
1. Don't complicate things. Just try the default options in Ubuntu installer. You can complicate things / distro hop later after you get shit figured out. 2. Turn off UEFI in BIOS 3. Make sure USB is your first boot option.
