Theory:
It was all a setup.

Fuzzy ginger boyfriend was sick and tired of shrieking jewess always starting shit (you could see/hear it in his initial reaction: 'Fuck. Here we go again.'), but didn't want the "domestic violence" consequences that would automatically attach from just beating her ass himself.

The money they are counting is what he paid them to sit on his car to start the incident, knowing that she would automatically escalate the situation.
