Not a raffle per se, but when I was in second grade, the school called an assembly and pulled out an enormous jar of pinto beans. They told us to guess how many were in the jar by writing our name and estimate on a piece of paper.

They said the winner would receive an awesome prize. About a week later the prinicpal walked into our class, congratulated me, and handed me that jar of beans. Our family had beans with our dinner for a month. I'm still pissed off about it.

Nice. Reminds me of when I played pogs as a kid. My buddy had a slammer with a picture on it of OJ behind bars. Written on it was "OJ in the slammer".

I raked up at a raffle once. Won the top prize and a shitload of the smaller ones. They cut me off because I was winning so much.

Grew up in a working class neighborhood as a kid and as the community of farmers retired and yuppies moved in tbey created the now common HOA.

Well as kids we always thought the yard of the month was a bullshit award. So one day we all conspired to give the yard of the month sign to the worst yard.

All of the parents in the neighborhood loved the idea and even congratulated us.

They even helped renew the peoples yard.

Our neighborhood often had block parties and would shut off access to non local traffic.

The neighborhood was 100% white. Good place to grow up.

I never saw a nog until they started bussing them in from the ghetto because the libjew principle thought we needed more races at the school.

The nogs didn't have a good time there.

I won a neighborhood Halloween costume contest when I was about 10. The grand prize was a fucking brick sized soap on a rope. Some old lady gave that shit to someone, and I think it was regifted to me. My friend began swinging this soap with the intention of launching it into the community pool, with my blessing. He was dressed as a cowboys ghost and couldn’t see well out of the eye holes. He hit himself in the face with it at peak revolution. Broke his nose and lost out a tooth. He was knocked cold, in his ghost outfit. So funny.

OJ isn't even dead. He's just hyping his upcoming new book titled, "If I Did Die."

If i'd won that crap i'd throw it away

I won the big pot of money at a local Republican dinner function back when I gave a shit. I donated the money right back to them.
