Honestly, it could be the vax or she could've just died from starvation. Kpop idols are forced to basically starve themselves in order to maintain an attractive weight. There's a really strict height/weight ratio that the producers force upon them.

I don't imagine they've got a drug problem anywhere near comparable to the west. From what I've seen of their culture, it's a lot like the Japanese in that they would rather kill themselves than become drug addicts, as it's less likely to burden society or bring shame to their family.
