Fresh fruits and veggies. The price fluctuates, same with meat, but that's inflation.

I'm convinced that the word shrinkflation really means the collective conspiracy of huge companies to all sell less food for the same amount of money to offset their own impact of inflation.

Theres a word, "soyflation" I've seen used to describe how familiar brands of processed foods have all been reformulated with soy fillers when nobody was looking. For example, Campbell's soup is now made up of soy. Tyson nuggets made up of soy. Soy has been put in the places you'd least expect it, as to disguise the shrinkflation.

I see the opposite. This one girl and my nephew eat all day long. Constantly hungry. They eat just like the people on that subreddit. At the end of the month when the stamps run out she'll cook and disavow fast food/frozen food and then when reload day comes its back to the same.
