Panic has a NSFL update

submitted by Panic to TellUpgoat 3 weeksApr 11, 2024 13:25:07 ago (+39/-2)     (TellUpgoat)

OP here.
Went to my wound care specialist this morning. He cleaned out the gunk from my big toe and we took this picture of my open wound. NSFL, but it proves the song: Ba-ba-ba-ba-bad to the bone.

Hey it’s not festering! Looks like it’ll heal up good. 👍

Doc says we might yet save that toe. Wish me luck!

[ - ] Ragnar 4 points 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 18:10:04 ago (+4/-0)

Good luck!
Now, it’s time to get your diabetes under control

An RN this morning told me exactly as you say, @SummerBreeze. Not all red, no weeping pus. And I have no fever. She said it's a circulation issue and that is probably correctable.

Been down in the dumps, but you wonderful goats have kept me from takin irreversible actions. I'm hoping and now planning on surviving this, fixing the underlying causes and keeping my niggerfaggot status. Bless you all.

I had to take antibiotics one time because of a ****** hangnail. Toe got all plumpy and red and puss and all of that and my entire foot became sore and I couldn’t walk on it. I really thought I’d lose my entire foot.

Wishing the best for you 🙏

Thanks boss! Despite all the bickering here, I just love this site of yours. It's my second home. So many rich and imaginitive posts and information to be found no place else.

FWIW, I try to leave you alone knowing you've got a life and shouldn't be spending all your time putting up with crybabies like me.

Keep up the good work and get out and live a little!

[ - ] system 2 points 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 22:11:07 ago (+2/-0)

Appreciate it.

I'm tired of waiting for you to die fucker. Hurry up.

No!!!! He has to hang on and die of blast, burns, or radiation sickness in WWIII along with the rest of us.

@happytoes

Perfect user name considering my week.

Here's the latest: My Cardiologist called me at 8pm (imagine that!) and said that they will wait 3 weeks to see if the wound is not still infected, and once cleared, he will laser out the vein (return-flow) for the leg. Already did the artery (down-flow) and must not alow the infection up the vein or all hell breaks loose. But if the toe heals, it gives this old diabetic good bloodflow and thereby, no more foot ulcers. Oh, plus HAPPY TOES!

[ - ] happytoes 2 points 2 weeksApr 12, 2024 09:56:32 ago (+2/-0)*

My name is weirder than you can imagine. I have been corrupted by this sinister cult and my toes are happy because I don't wear shoes and go barefoot 360 days of the year.

What is sinister about the cult is that on the mailing list some of the members claim to be diabetics and claim that going barefoot has improved the circulation in their feet and reversed their peripheral neuropathy.

It is not an impossible claim. When you go barefoot you end up having to change your gait to avoid landing heavily on your heels. You end up using your calf muscles more. This squeezes the veins than run through the calf. Since the veins have non-return valves, this turns them into little pumps that help with the circulation. So maybe there is something in it.

But I'm aware of the "hoof to paw" transformation. Start going barefoot and you need to change from treating your foot as a hoof, for stomping and crushing, and treat it as a paw, for grasping and feeling. Fail to make the change and you will get lots of minor injuries (because you are no longer protected by shoes). Fail to make the change when diabetic and you will get gangrene and die.

I have been corrupted by this sinister cult and my toes are happy

I was a barefoot kid until I left home. I loved it. And I'm going to make this happen again, thanks to you. Some cults are better than others! I'm in.

Been trying but no luck. Come on over and push me down the stairs. With a bad big toe, the coroner will say I stumbled, and then my insurance pays out big time. Split it with my wife!

That's nasty. But I'm fascinated enough by medical stuff to know its not nasty nasty so at least you have that going for you. Remind me what happened again?

[ - ] rzr97 3 points 2 weeksApr 12, 2024 01:36:41 ago (+3/-0)

By the way, for that 4-10 1000mg ascorbic acid pills, it's best to take them throughout the day--for absorption. You can take them all at once and you'll be fine but you'll get far less absorption and you stand a higher chance of getting diarrhea.

Just put a handful in your pocket and pop them throughout the day.

You REALLY need to get on this as soon as possible to improve your circulation so your toe AND EVERYTHING ELSE heals quicker.

If you want to logically prove this works to yourself ask why there is a cutoff for vitamin C. It used to be much smaller but now I'm seeing the medical establishment is saying 2000mg a day is fine. Think about scurvy, how the fuck can they say 80mg a day is enough? Clearly 0mg a day is very bad. You see the outward signs that scurvy shows. Now how about 10, 40, 100? At what point is it optimal? Is there a bad point? It's water soluble so you quickly piss it out unlike say vitamin E which is fat soluble and you can build up too much.

Anyhow, try it for a year and you'll see.

Take care.

rzr97
Thanks for this info. You've done your homework. Will be picking up some ascorbic acid pills this week.

The Doxycycline is helping. And my sister has me on Ivermectin too. First dose last Sunday. Horse dewormer for the win!

[ - ] rzr97 1 point 2 weeksApr 12, 2024 11:11:50 ago (+1/-0)

I just luckily stumbled into reality on some forums years ago and I'm trying to show others. The same way we try to show others about the jews.

If you try it and it doesn't work over time, abandon it. I have no dog in the fight. Just trying to help decent white folk out.

[ - ] Cunt 0 points 2 weeksApr 13, 2024 08:23:53 ago (+0/-0)

I read somewhere that the high doses are only good short term because if you take them too long your body readjusts and considers the high amount of vitamin C in your system to be normal. Not sure how true or not that is but I only do the mega doses when I'm sick then stop when I'm better.

[ - ] rzr97 1 point 2 weeksApr 13, 2024 12:58:17 ago (+1/-0)

It's not true at all in my opinion. I base it on Linus Pauling being an honest genius.

Too many titles won in the ass kicking contests

[ - ] Sector2 3 points 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 15:08:16 ago (+3/-0)

That doesn't look bad at all. Slap some body putty in that thing and you'll be good to go.

Seriously though, I hope you find a way to get your body working well again.

But tranq users at least are having fun! This one hurts like... no wait, I feel nothing in the toe. That's new and in a bad way.

[ - ] Sector2 1 point 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 16:22:15 ago (+1/-0)

Maybe good for now with that hole. You'll just have to keep an eye on it (hopefully not 'them') to make sure it's not on fire, or falling off. I stupidly stuck a knife in my left arm, and cut right through the nerve trunk. Hand still works, but man, talk about a scar being sensitive to the touch.

In French Louisiana where I was raised we call it a bobo. Same as they say in France. So... it's only a bobo.

Sevral folks here refuse to click the link. You are brave and have good perspective. Bet you're a parent. Parents get used to bobos.

Reminds me of a maggot-infested wound. Hear me out.

Maggots are awesome wound cleaners. They eat all the dead flesh and remove the pieces down to such a degree that they've been medically applied to people.

Such a treatment probably wouldn't help you at this stage, but it's not something that I'll be praying that you'll need. Keep fighting!

Massive amounts of vitamin C. Remember. You'll be amazed.

[ - ] ItsOk2bArian 3 points 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 19:11:34 ago (+3/-0)

For those that don't know, you can't overdose on vitamin C.
Massive amounts have been found to cure some cancers

There is hope. Next Thursday I get the MRI and that's a deciding factor. My wound care specialist thinks he can save the toe, so who knows? After the toe is done, better or worse, my Cardiologist says he can laser out the vein, restoring full circulation. So there is still much to hope for.

And who is it keeping me going? My wife. Makes all the appointments and gets me everywhere on time. I'm lost without her. When all this is over and done, I want to begin a thread about being happily married. Picky guys and incels won't like it so much, but my wife breaks all the rules of UpGoat. Been married twice before. Has three grown kids. She worked in a restaurant full time. Just not the youthful virgin so in demand here. But after 26 years of marriage, she's a saint and truly a life saver. It's never too late to try again, and should everything work out with the foot, I hope to spend all my remaining years doing good things in appreciation. Oh, and here's a simple trick to keep the wife happy. For all our years together, each night I pull down the sheets and hold them up while she slides in for the night. Women love the shit out of little but persistent things like that.

[ - ] Ragnar 1 point 2 weeksApr 11, 2024 22:40:38 ago (+1/-0)

Oh man, that was a long read.
Glad your toe is salvageable. Now you better take care of your health, if only in appreciation of your wife.
Speaking of, no one said you cannot find the rare good woman despite all the baggage. The point is to not use edge or rate cases to justify the shift in normalcy.

As a GENERAL rule, a virgin young woman from a solid family with a good relationship with her father s a better bet for a wife and a mother.

Some women can have bad circumstances or signs and still be good. A tattooed up woman with multiple prior partners might be loyal and become a good mother. BUT the odds are not in her favour.

Dirt? Yes, dirt! Dirt is earth and what's better than a truly natural approach. Mother Earth for the win.

Thanks, you saved me. Hell, I'm gonna eat some too. All natural from here on out.
