Important to note: Toledo was the equivalent of Washington DC in the Visigoth Kingdom. There were too many coups and civil wars to count, but the takeaway was that if the ruler was good, it was ousted early. I own many. To be a master of history you must study all the why's and wherefore's of it. Otherwise you are learning without context. Start learning about Babylon and The Hittites. then work your way to present day, understanding what specifics were going on in each age. If you still can't find the books when you arrive all the way to 1492. Then I will copy the books and send them to you. Context is very important in understanding history.
