2- 1.75L bottles of decent middle of the line vodka such as Svedka or Absolut is pretty much the same price- maybe cheaper if on sale…..

Mmm rock gut vodka. I remember having some super cheap vodka. I forget what it was called but literally about 3 shots you get a stomach ache. I was under aged at the time and I still dumped it out

Tip for anyone actually doing cheap shoddy vodka - put it through a water filter a few times, makes it marginally smoother.

Mixing filtered cheap vodka can mask its crapness some more and make a mid cocktail.
