If only people are instructed from a young age on the merit of integrity, hard work and honesty they would pass such a rich inheritance to their children. Truly wealth and prosperity lies in moral values, precious moments shared and valued. What a sad outcome. I pray he uses it as a launching pad not a blow to the face.

I've lost so many people over the last ten years I'm just numb from it all. I wish I could go back to the 70's and live out my life and die sometime in the 90's.

@TheOriginal1Icemonkey...you know...I'm fucking tired as hell and I am fucking whipped...I came to bed early for a good long sleep but then decided to check in to this viper pit to see how many times the word faggot was used....and then I read your post...believe me, I can relate...I've lost so many people in the last 5years, especially in the last 1.5years, and I lost my family after everything I've done for them, my kids were everything to me and they turned on me...there's a lot I could get into but I don't want to appear as making this post about me because it's not, it's about the offering of advice through the experiences similar to what you've posted...1st of all, and it's indisputable that everyone is the architect of their own complexities, the only way to avoid that is to not be born. 1st off when you mentioned "OUTLAWS" I figured you were referring to the MC 1%ers, secondary, the last 35years has been a major psy-op with the war on the family, academia turned kids against their parents, just as the soviet jews when (((bolshevism))) took hold in Russia, kids were encouraged to betray their parents, unity was to the state first...all that is gone today, everything is about the destruction of the family and parents are target #1. When shit goes down, and it will eventually, it's only natural to blame one's self, and , like everyone else who breathes air, to burn one's brains out thinking about what could have been done differently to prevent the mess that one is in...the fact is, everyone is faced with complexities, everyone is battling demons, life is cruel and merciless and that will never change, nobody leaves "this" life unscathed. Icemonkey, nothing you say or do is going to totally alleviate the pain that buddy is going through, smiles are a paper facade, grimacing pain is internal, you can't see it but the one in pain does, even in sleep...it's only through one's "will to survive " and "will to power" that one can endure and overcome that pain...either one finds his purpose or one is done, destiny's account will soon be due and everybody is in debt to their destiny and payment is made in "will" (full). No one gets out of this life unscathed but time does heal all wounds.

Daughter of formally shady guy kills guy's friend. There's a lot of possibilities of what actually happened, but it's a story I've heard before.
Assuming it follows the trend: The father was a piece of shit when she was growing up (which you confirmed), father was friends with other pieces of shit (unconfirmed but likely), piece of shit friend molested or raped her while she was young (we'll never know now), daughter takes revenge years later.

The only thing that makes it so I won't 100% assume this is usually the kid also kills the parent, and the other kids are either fucked mentally or dead from suicide.

Bad deal. The man needs a new plan. I've known several badasses and just got along by never pulling any bullshit. The Mexican Banditos biker gang comes to mind. Bunch of married guys with homes and kids. A few got in trouble in Arizona and disappeared, changing names and states and putting the bikes up for sale. New name, new life. Stupid cops never tracked them through the wives and kids. Decade later, they just pop up back in Arizona and lay low.

That sucks. My peer group from way back consists mostly of my buddies from high school, we all dropped out and were on the same framing crew for years. Knew one guy that was on the wagon for years. He was a still a psycho on the job -torturous bastard would pin the safety back on the hitachi framing nailers so when anyone picked up the gun and put their finger on the trigger, would shoot out a 12 penny spike in whatever direction the gun was facing, would deliberately setup the staging in the most precarious and unsafe way, lol was a hell of a framer though. So he hooks up with this chick and knocks her up. When she is like 6 months along, he falls off the wagon. HARD. crack habit nightly, drinking all day every day, gets fired. One day decides enough is enough, grabs a rope out of his roommates garage, makes a noose, climbs a tree, ties the rope about 20' up and ropes his neck, climbs up like another 20' and leaps. Almost took his head off, when the dog came back without him, his roommate went looking for him. found him right before dark and had to burn him down with a lighter. His GF had the kid like a month later.

reading this post, what sticks out to me, "Daughter apparently stabbed one of her fathers friends." was the friend her fathers age? Did he do something to her? I know you don't have the answers to these questions.. peace
