Holy shit. That's an adolescent panther or mountain lion depending on where it is. We have Florida Panthers around here, but if you ever see one in the wild it's only because it wanted you to. Those fuckers can easily take down a wild pig or a full grown buck.

It's a Caracal. A wild breed that is occasionally domesticated. How successfully I'm not sure.

I don't know why all animals wouldn't want to be domesticated. If someone offered me comfy home, free food and the occasional massage/tummy rub I would quit my job, sell my home and move in with them tomorrow. I guess some animals are too stupid to know a good thing.
