I know it's an unpopular act here, but it's why I have a FB account; it allowed me to reconnect with all those I had grown up with, but moved away from as a teen. I know it for the data-harvesting kikery it is, and I don't spend my day on it like some waste of melaninated carbon, but because of it, I've now gotten to see how people that had once been very dear to me turned out, how their kids have grown up, what their grandkids look like. I'm not going to feel guilty for that.

I still have a very good contact with a lot of my childhood friends. It's really cool to be able to grow up and still know each other and stay close.
