In what way is China not communist anymore? They have a state-run central bank, they have a graduating income tax, a citizen can not own land or natural resources, all flow of information is run by the state, education is controlled by the state, while there are few other parties except the CCP which are allowed in China, the CCP has been in control of China ever since 1949 which makes it fair to say the country is run by one party system. The state controls most of the means of production, while China has private corporations, many of them, and especially the most profitable and biggest ones are still controlled by the state. The Chinese state has continuously increased its control over the private sector over the years as well.

So which part of China isn't communist exactly? They got pretty much almost all the planks of communism checkmarked.
