Every time I see a Burger King it looks shut down and abandoned. Broken sign and everything. Then lo I look closer and there are customers and they are actually eating the food prepared by people in there.

Sometimes I'm really sure this one is shut down. Then sure enough, 2 cars in the drive through, eating from nigger's hands. Is there a sale on burger King franchises? Is there a stipend assiciated with welfare where you run your own burger King

Breakfast for 2 is invariably 30 bucks now. I try to avoid it but certain days you just want to be served food. The coffee is 4$ now so when they fail at refills I feel kinda funny.

I've heard its very expensive. A buddy of mine took his girlfriend to taco bell and said they could've ate a an authentic mexican restaurant for half of what they paid.

Went to Philly to see the historical stuff. Sat down in the Burger King down the street from the Liberty Bell, had a bullet hole in the window next to me. I told myself lightening never strikes twice.

well said, my theory (not really mine, others say it all the time) is that they were convinced they had to much and made suffering a virtue. After that, well they are pretty dumb so they probably just got used to it and dont even notice anymore.

I think that is the most dangerous part. When you normalize decay and forget to notice you are dying.

Recently my woman had an early morning medical diagnostic test that required an overnight fast.
She was hungry when we left the clinic so we drove to a nearby McDonald's drive thru to get her an Egg McMuffin™. Menu said almost $8 for one. Nope.
I kept on driving to a locally owned diner..
Does McDonald's take EBT?
The one near me always has 15+ cars lined up around the building.
We have a sizeable Native American population here, that might explain it.

Meanwhile the BK a block away is semi- deserted most of the time.
