That's really weird because I've never heard anyone declare this as normal in my life. I've never heard a single set of parents talk about this, much less say it's normal. In my life experience, nobody does this, ever.

If anything, a mom will do the job of teaching her daughter how to carry on in the bath and shower.

I recall my dad being in the bathroom with me precisely one time when I got to the age where I needed to start showering. It can be a little intimidating for a kid that age, changing over from bath time to showering on your own. He explained how to get the water going and that I need to wash and dry from top to bottom. That was it. The soap goes on that rack. Put your washcloth right here when you're done, and put a towel down on the ground so you don't get the floor wet.

There was never any need for continued shower time with your parents, especially not the opposite sex parent.

And I wonder (((who))) these psychologists might be who are promoting as normal something that's never been normal. It's just gaslighting, plain and simple, like the attempt to tell us that 14-yr old kids having heart attacks is normal. "Cardiologists say. . ." Oh really? In WHAT FUCKING WORLD have they ever been saying this?

We took our kids -- a girl and boy -- into the shower with us all of the time. They get to play in the water and we could keep an eye on them. Total win-win. There's not a thing wrong with it. Most parents do this. Or at least they used to. Who knows what the current crop of easily triggered, woke retards are thinking.

But it stopped at a certain age, I don't recall now but it was probably sometime around 2 years of age perhaps younger. You just 'know' when it's no longer appropriate.

The way this propagandizing wanker words the circumstances makes it sound like "virtually all pediatricians and child psychologists" are encouraging child molestation. But the key words are "up to a certain age". And I can assure you that for any correctly trained, half intelligent health care professional that is a very young age.
