You know...animals are fucking amazing, they have a will to survive that humans are incapable of even understanding, even fish with a mouthful of barbed hooks will fight to survive right to the end....in my trapping years I've had animals chew their own foot off, I've seen bears with their bodies ripped open and I've seen big bull moose plow through the thickest of bush after absorbing 3 220gr bullets from a 30-06 and go into a swamp and drowned themselves to avoid capture...that deer probably got hung up in a barbed wire fence and chewed it's way out of it.

How would that happen? Could it survive long term like that?
