I wasnt invited, just went there and signed up, if they try to get you to address verify, ignore it, then change the address to something else near what you want to monitor. If they keep trying and it never works eventually they just let you post.
I never verified, was never invited, have full access nextdoor account There might be a trick to the address change. That seemed to unlock it.
