The headline is a bit sensational. He was given life in prison for being an unrepentant pedophile with multiple convictions, who even while on a recognizance wasn't able to keep his dick in his pants on a public train, likely with kids on board as well.

I would have sentenced him to castration and had him buried upside-down in an unmarked grave, but 25 years in jail seems like an okay compromise.

The kids argument is dumb. They see porn all the time. Increasingly jacking off in public is also being legalized or decriminalized. Sweden and Italy come to mind.
