Yes, he was a fantastic singer! The whole band kicked ass—Vinny Appice too. My dad listened to Rainbow and Dio constantly when I was little and I got hooked. He had a practice room in the basement for his drums and I was always used to hearing him practice this song without hearing any of the other instruments.
His singing on the Sabbath live album 'Live Evil' was the heaviest shit ever, Vinnie played drums on that too. 'Neon Knights' is brutal as fuck, esp Iommi's guitar. Classic shit that will never die.
