This is our new world.

I worry about our military in this regard.

If they can render the controls useless, what they aren't saying is they can still control it, just not the folks on board.

Don’t forget about the two US Navy destroyers that completely lost power and were rammed by freighters in 2017.

Didn't trumpenstein say that putting everything in computers was stupid? Its what people have been saying for a long long time. Apparently he used paper to message in sealed envelopes when it was local.

Thats the point I made about milships, this will never happen on one of those UNLESS that new fangled destroyer has lots of stupid embedded, but I really doubt they would. Everyone knows if security is an issue,the solution is get the computer out of there and attach a rod to it.

If true, why not do it to every ship in the US at the same time, during rush hour? Why only one ship at 1 in the morning?

because they cant do it to all the different kinds.
You prolly seen Battlestar Galactica.
The ship I served on was active in Vietnam, they cant control it with a computer.
They can't remote hijack the Carl Vinson either, which is much newer.

Unless they knock the stars out of the sky, we're goin home.

They could do it to at least half of them. What containership isn't computerized in 2024?

Containership, maybe, milship -> nope

You know who "they" first tested that remote-control shit on? Diana.
