There were about 7-8 of us in line paying for our shit and yuppie boomer walks directly up to the counter beside the person who was paying and started talking to the cashier and tried to hand her his money for gas because he's so much more important than the rest of us and I told him to get in line and told her to not take the money or there would be trouble. I think it's the first generation to genuinely overstay its welcome. We've extended human longevity so fast and so quickly that these fuckers were just the first to think they can defy the ageing process forever.

Boomers are about a million years old but seem obsessed with pretending they're young. A distinct lack of dignity during the ageing process is almost the generations defining trait.

Part of the resentment is the blind trust of boomers. They were raised in a majority White high trust society and believed that government looked out for them. They trust that doctors have their best interests and that the news doesn’t lie.

I think the implication of the ‘hatred’ is that the boomers were the last generation in which it was possible to have recognized this and fight back… and they didn’t. Instead they wiggled themselves into the cushions and lazed about while the world burned around them.

Cars were in fact cheaper and wages went farther. Wage stagnation began in 1972. Cars are now over complicated due to government regulations and thus cost more. Houses are larger but lower quality, both the construction and the materials. Shit wasn’t boring back then. People had more freedom and more money. Everything was going great so the boomer had no reason to worry about the direction of the world.

Everyone is looking for a villian to denegrate and attack righteously. Base of that is self-loathing. Is being amplified for herding political wedge.

Part of that is just the bullshit poisoning of the roots. Destroying Caucasians by cutting off elders wisdom.

What legitimate criticism might apply to some?

Mass participation in rejection of traditional American Christian values.

The youth movement was a large step towards the destruction of the country.

Boomers were also mostly the parents of millennials - and the economic times were very different. The advice from Boomer parents indebted millennials and destroyed them economically and decreased their birthrate.

Street/gun violence was about 200% more then it is today.

Everyone was poor, seriously. Everyone was. 12,000k a year was a "good" job. but gas was cheap. 25-60 cents a gallon. Folks could drive around and go camppiong and road traveling a bunch.


We only made 3.65 an hour.

Yes a house was 40,000k, but it still took 30 years to pay it off. My dad, worked 60 hours a week for about 20 years to pay our simple rancher 3 bedroom off.

Jobs were hard to get, a good job was really hard to get.

I lived with roommates till I was about 30+ due to pricing and I had a "good job"


Kids today have no idea the background stress of the 18 minute missile flights we lived under.

The economies really sucked. Way worse then today. Inflation was like 18%, Interest rates were 22%.

There was WAYYYY less government/regulation and they were not complete buttfucking tools back then, taxing the shyte out of everything. The folks int he US currently pay like 70% taxes on thier money (income, use, vat, local liens, capital gains, sales tax, etc) and back then it was more only like 40%.... government jobs were like 22%, today they are 52% of all jobs.
