See, this is the one reason I'm glad I live in Pittsburgh. We have over 400 bridges. Between North Side and Downtown alone there are 4 bridges in immediate connection. If one goes down we can always detour, and it happens often with how much construction there is. It is the one thing this city is prepared for. We can ship by river and even through the Great Lakes, by rail, by roadway, and we are surrounded by farmland and industrial storage. We can survive for a bit longer than others here.
