The problem is there is a time frame in which they're required to disclose their trades, it's not instant. I believe it's within 30 days of the transaction.

Someone posted on here a few months ago about a man getting arrested for "insider trading", but he had only been trading the same stocks as her and her husband. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was from a satire site.
Anyway, I would not doubt one bit that if any of us did the same trades they do that we would be stopped and possibly charged.
