I don't see bids. I only see estimated value at $2,000-$3,000 pounds, which seems like a steal.

It was commenters on twatter that said they were putting in bids. In any case, the amulet has sold and you have to log in to see the final sale price, and I ain't signing up for that shit. Agreed, their original estimate seemed extremely low for such a priceless artifact.

Edit: Curiosity got the better of me so I used an old gmail spam account to log in. It did not sell, so it'll come up again. That lot had plenty of really fascinating historical trinkets from ancient Egypt, Rome, Greece, the Far East, etc. Gold figurines, jewelry, glassware, coinage, tapestries, etc. Can't believe most of it was valued so low. Far more interesting artifacts than that ugly silver kike.
