If you have a problem with asking a fellow brother or sister in Christ to pray for you, I suggest you look at the texts more closely.
I assume you are talking about the sinlessness and perpetual virginity of Mary? It is extra-Biblical in the sense that it is not explicit in the texts. But not being explicit doesn't mean it can't be necessitated by the texts.
Think about it this way: believers are part of the body of Christ; Mary is the mother of Christ; we are to honour thy mother and father; Christ is required to honour his mother and father.
The Hail Mary largely comes from scripture itself. With an added line saying "pray for us sinners..."
If Mary is a perfected creature designed to bear God Himself, she would be optimally righteous.
