I wish I had bought a modular home instead of having one built.

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/18/modular-housing-a-century-old-sustainable-housing-idea-is-struggling.html

I dont know why, but I sort of have a soft spot for this industry and think it's pretty cool. Like the old Sears mail order houses.
I heard modular homes are a lot better than they used to be too. And cheaper. I dont really want to wage slave for 30 years to pay my mortgage. If I didnt have to pay mortgage every month, Id be able to save money, build up my homestead, and maybe even take a much needed yearly vacation.
I trusted my dad and step mom because theyre wealthy and have a better understanding of this shit, so instead of a modular home, I built a 3 bed 2 bath starter home on my 3 acres for 200k with all of my 50k down. So making payments on the remaining 150k.
If not a modular home, I could have gotten a really nice double wide mobile home for like 60k.
I just wish I had made a different choice so that Id have more expendable income to save or invest.

Florida here.

Modular home I found "on sale" for 78k.
Needs 10k down for finance.
Needs 40k for install and pad.
Then I have to pay out of my pocket for power and septic on my land.

After it's all done and financed it still will end up costing me a 150-200k dollar mortgage.

So what I did was buy a camper trailer for 128 Dollars per month.

I've seen people build some decent setups with trailers and the like. Full solar power for heating/cooling/cooking/tv/whatever, wells, and other stuff. Not something I'd raise a family in, but some do.

I haven’t paid my mortgage for around 6-8 months so far. I’ve been ignoring the calls. If I had actually had a decent job then I could have been saving money this whole time. Anyway, point is that you can go for a while without paying. I may not pay again and go for a single side on a few acres when they try to throw me out. I have a plan to defeat foreclosure. It’s a cute little trick called conditional acceptance. We will see what happens. Fuck the Jewish system. Im done with it.

Enjoy homelessness.

you’re a jew because… uh…

You can skip out on a lot of taxes, but they’ll come down like a ton of bricks on property. They never overlook it. You’re going to wind up homeless.

For everyone curious as to what 'conditional acceptance' is, it's essentially changing the terms of an existing contract between parties by making a counter-offer that the other party 'accepts' (using 'acceptance' extremely loosely here-- looser than the french fries still under the seats in your truck) as these counter-offers are often performed verbally-- making them difficult to prove (inevitably) in court. In theory, if your mortgage was 1200/month and you got them to accept 100/month (preferably in writing-- because they at least think they'll get the full amount later), technically the original contract is now changed and you can just pay 100/month going forward-- and then they're completely fucked because they'll never recoup the full amount in your lifetime.

A dumb or negligent company might fall for this, a smart one won't even engage and they'll just begin invoking (keyword) their legal rights (eg: put a lien on the property-- and so on). I have a hard time believing a judge would accept this, however, given the absolute dogshit unqualified diversity judges we have nowadays-- you plausibly could convince one to rule in your favor. If you try this, I would make the argument a clear and concise as possible to a judge, because you'll only piss (a smarter) one off trying the 'word salad' approach that niggers defending themselves often do.

The only case I know of about something like this, paraphrasing because I heard the story so long ago. Is that a bank (i believe) was trying to collect some debt a guy owed them. The guy wrote a new contract (I don't know if very small print at the bottom/looney toons style was used) regarding the debt mailed it to them and got either a clerk or middle manager to actually sign the new contract. Obviously, it went to court after the bank realized their error and the jewdge sided with the bank that the new contract was null and void, despite it being signed. The judge's reasoning is that the bank did not fully understand the new contract and therefore would have not reasonably agreed to it-- as both parties in a contract have to be fully appraised of what they're signing off on. (extreme irony given the circus tier predatory student loans, mortgages, etc.. we have nowadays)

Anyway, let us know how this goes @Maskless, as for nothing else I'd just be curious as to how it ultimately went. Regardless, win or lose, the blood from a stone approach fucks ZOG, which is good for all of us. Goodluck mang.

I really hope it doesn’t come to that but the way life goes it sometimes forces you into things. Either way, the real deal with a conditional acceptance is that it eliminates the disagreement and therefore a court cannot see a case. Court is there to settle disputes but a conditional acceptance isn’t a dispute so a court can’t do shit. In short, you send a condition acceptance with a million “proof of claim” bullet points. Give them 10 days to respond. You hope they don’t and then send it again. The third time you send a “no response is an agreement” type letter. Then when you they try to drag you into court you go file all that shit with the clerk and can pretty much get the whole thing dismissed without ever going to actual court. Shit like this is why they have made up the Chinese spying TikTok bullshit because this is the real shit floating around on that app. How to fuck over the Jews who’ve been fucking us over for centuries.

So you're fucking over your landlord? You fucking piece of shit!

Having a mortgage does not equal having a landlord, dumbass.

[ - ] beece 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 21:18:36 ago (+0/-0)

Maskless, rent out rooms or space, anything you can to get money. Then contact the bank and work out a payment plan. Your plan ain't gonna work, you need to revise it.

Good luck.

You will get a higher price at re-sale time. Heck, you could even cut bait and walk away with your 50k equity. I actually think it was a good idea as you would start to see depreciation in a trailer pretty quick. I think it is hard now so pay off the mortgage as fast as you possibly can. You can also grow into it with kids and a wife. There will be a time when you pay the thing off that you will be happy about the whole ordeal. I have about 50-60k left on my mortgage. Means it will be totally paid off well before I turn 40. It is on a 15 year at 2% so i actually lose money on it if I pay extra. That makes me have a lot if fat to work with and no jew bankers to pay.

[ - ] RedBarchetta 2 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 11:13:10 ago (+2/-0)*

Some of them are very impressive.

The modular housing trend is exploding in very expensive areas. Build off site, install in a 10th of the time. No parking issues for weeks from workers, dust and noise. Additionally the efficiency and quality of the structure is so much better.

[ - ] OftenWrong 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 12:31:15 ago (+0/-0)

ok not in canada. our build quality is so bad for prefabs

[ - ] Crackinjokes 2 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 10:31:51 ago (+2/-0)

Yeah.

Lots more choices now than stick built on site construction.

24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

God doesn’t like trailers. You ever seen what happens when a tornado goes threw a trailer park?

Local guy has a two story double wide with a half basement that's pretty trick.
Buying repo and remodeling to custom saved him $26k+ on the square footage rates in the area.

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 14:50:29 ago (+0/-0)

the old Sears mail order houses.

The old town area right near the rail line is full of these houses. My house was built around the same time but further out from there, thank god. They look nice when people take care of them.

Mobile homes tend to fall apart. Then again, modern home building is a shitshow as well. It all depends on who you get building it, and the choices in building materials they use.

[ - ] OftenWrong 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 12:30:33 ago (+0/-0)

My parents have one and I lived in a trailor park for 6 years when I moved out. They are overpriced and poorly built. Used maybe if you can find one cheap for like 10k and then fix it up you will save money but new they are designed to fall apart now after a certain point. There are a few prefab home companies now that are more like building blocks that you assemble on site that are cheaper( rental of crane included) but only if you are close enough to the facility that transport of the multiple parts. They are more labour because you have to put them together and there is some construction still when you do that

[ - ] Reawakened 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 13:41:34 ago (+0/-0)

Used is really the only way to go with that, and it's gonna be crappy for a while, but it gets paid off really fast and then you can decide what's really important to you.
