I have a nephew like that kid. Obsessed with farming and machinery since before he could walk. He rode with me in the tractor and drove me crazy with his questions.
He's grown up with a beautiful family.
He's running the family farm now.

I had an uncle like you in Iowa, although I wasn't particularly into farm machinery. Dad just died, and no idea what ever happened to the family farm. Their dad died when "the bull" threw him over an outbuilding on the farm.

Good kid.

Good salesmanship too. I like how he didn't treat him like a little kid, and took the time to answer his questions straight. That's a man that know's his current customers, AND his future customers.

The little guy deserves to be treated with respect- he clearly has a great deal of knowledge in this field already at such a young age. You don't need to patronize him, you can carry on a conversation with him.

I think this kind of character is often built when growing up on a farm- it was like that for me. Being responsible for helping out with all the daily farm activities really teaches you structure and how to think long-term. I'll never forget the first harvest I helped to plant, that feeling of pride.

And just the discipline of having to get up early. Cows don't know shit about "days off", they still have to be milked.

I'll never forget my first day of basic training in the US Army. We got to sleep in until 0530!

According to the government this is a terrorist and the people crossing the border are just doctors and engineers.

That was so adorable. You can tell that boy has a strong father in his life.

Kids like him are why we will eventually win.

I've seen plenty of kids like this raised as god fearing Christians and they eventually enlist in the military and fight for jewish interests.

shlomo licking his chops - this young alpha white would be a fine offering to moloch in the next banker war

It's unfortunate but this is the cycle that seems to repeat.

This kid obviously has a an excellent role model of a father

[ - ] DARTH_VARIANT 3 points 1 monthMar 21, 2024 23:37:59 ago (+3/-0)

Wow.
I congratulate that young man’s father and mother.
I would trust his judgment as a community elder- when he has his own family.

That kid could probably out shoot 90% of us on a range!

I see well tended acres and a large family in this kid's future.

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 1 point 1 monthMar 22, 2024 06:55:53 ago (+1/-0)

That kid is sharp! He is textbook precocious and confident, too.

[ - ] Hoobeejoo 1 point 1 monthMar 22, 2024 05:00:07 ago (+1/-0)

How can ya not love a kid like that?

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 1 monthMar 22, 2024 06:15:13 ago (+0/-0)

I'd avoid any hardware with computers in it.

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 1 monthMar 22, 2024 06:58:21 ago (+0/-0)

Good luck. A lot of farmers are trying to buy late 80’s John Deeres for that very reason.

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 1 monthMar 22, 2024 07:55:42 ago (+0/-0)

What made you curious about farm equipment?

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 1 monthMar 22, 2024 08:47:45 ago (+0/-0)

Nothing

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 1 monthMar 23, 2024 20:22:52 ago (+0/-0)

Then why would you know anything about the farm equipment market?

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 02:35:45 ago (+0/-0)

Reading.

[ - ] carnold03 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 06:08:28 ago (+0/-0)

Obviously that's how anyone would find out, but I asked why were you reading anything about the farm equipment market?

[ - ] TheBigGuyFromQueens 0 points 1 monthMar 24, 2024 06:58:23 ago (+0/-0)

I came across the information.
