I got to thinking about this, in most jurisdictions if you are caught committing a crime while in possession of a firearm you will receive a felony enhancement. So, if they are already committing a crime for being in this country illegally…hmmm?

On the form you have to fill out to buy a firearm, one of the first questions is, ‘are you a US citizen?’ Another is, ‘have you ever renounced your citizenship?’ How is a back ground check to be done on some mystery fuck that entered illegally?

It was most likely a private sale. No FFL would be able to sell a firearm to an illegal if they wanted to.
