You're asking me to speculate. Nobody has ever dug deeper than 8 miles. I would say your guess is as good as mine, but you believe the world is round so it's probably not.

My guess, The earth as we know it is just a moving habitable bubble of magnetism over a vast flat plane. You can think of that bubble as mostly submerged. We are inside the bubble, but are more towards the top of it.

Everything just gets more dense the further down we go. If you can think of outer space as infinite, then think of the flat earth as infinite. You will never reach the end of digging. You will just reach the limits of your capability to dig.
