Home fitness room. It works and works great. Can use anytime and no hassles.
24 hour fitness also had a dude in the womens locker room. Sick shit going on. The machines all have diseases on them anyway.

srsly... get a bowflex... they're fucking awesome
That might not work for the 2% meat monsters, but for most of us its a fine plan.

I like free weights, a lot, but they are hard to carry and I tend to move around.
I've collapsed and erected this bowflex at 5 location in maybe 3 years.

I am uncertain of the difference between free weights vs tension rods, but I will say the tension results are pretty quick and impressive.

You cannot boycott only business, you boycott the entire idea.
Remove yourself from the stage. They can do as they like, but I will not.

They are doing it wrong? Stop doing it wrong with them.
You don't need an entire gym to get what you want.
You can afford to do it yourself.
I paid $1,200 once, I saved it for this purpose.

All I have is this machine and a cheapass treadmill, jumping jacks, situps and pushups, a few (small) dumbbells that I pump when my meeting is taking forever and I'm not the one talking. At some point, I'll need more, but for daily maintenance, this works. I dont do 8-counts anymore but I still think they work nicely too.

and you never have to see those faggots again. That's a win.

Can you do everything with it, squats bench press deadlift etc?

with the multiple arrangements, I am inclined to say yes, cept deadlift obviously.

They have attachments to, theres a preachers curl attach I kinda want to try.
The seat on the XL2 comes off completely and leaves a standing area platform on the ground.
You can use the bottom runners there to attach and lift from there, you could do squats like that.
If you sit down and put the grip-handles on those runner cables, now you're rowing.

It totally has benchpress, thats like exercise #2, and you slide the attacher after that and boom, you're doing butterflies.
I like the chest exercises but The overhead bar (pulls downs, etc) is becoming my new fav.

If you like to workout and dont mind exploring the machine, it will keep you busy.
It's the most complete machine I've ever had, I used to have a Weider Home Gym, which I also liked, that was long time ago though.

The coolest part is the switching, its actually great, the cable anchors slide on the frame and you literally pull them off and put them somewhere else, attach handles or a bar and start the new exercise.

The reason I said no to deadlift is because I perceive part of the deadlift to be the balancing of the weight, which in a tension system, would not exist in the same capacity. I would not be surprised if this was simply me not understanding all the aspects of deadlift. (you probably can and I dont know about it)

Interesting. Is that the model you have, XL2, or can you tell me the name? I might consider getting one + a bench press so I can have the bar and alsp do deadlifts with that. I'm tired of going to gyms with niggers in them.

Xtreme SE2 I knew there was a 2 in it. This is the one, they might have better ones by now and like I said they got plenty of accessories and whatnot. It broke me when I bought it but its the first thing I pack when I move and probably a better purchase than my car.

I use the two sides for sitting benchpress, the latbar for pull downs/ups, the side hands for butterflies, the legs I do sometimes, I love the shoulder straps for sitting situps (I still do real situps but these with about 30lbs on it rips the abs)

The manual and the billion pages workout guide is all online free at bowflex

Free weights have their place. I wouldn't mind a bowflex or knock-off that would fit into my basement with it's low ceiling.

If you don't have the cash up-front, you can start with dumbbell bars. Use these to practice your form and to begin building a routine. Then, each paycheck, buy some small-change weights for them. Eventually, you'll end up with more than you can actually lift. Then move on to a curl bar(the wavy one) with the same diameter as the dumbbell bars.

And so on.
