You don't suddenly die of anaphylaxis many hours later without symptoms. Something doesn't add up about this story at all. Anaphylaxis happens very quickly after being exposed to an allergen.

Probably because a illegal taco nigger had diarrhea all over the strawberry field.

They probably weren't washed properly, or not at all.

Please don't give children Benadryl. That shit is not good for the body and has some disturbing side effects in large doses.

Also the amount of pesticides they spray on conventional strawberries is gross

They are considered one of the "Dirty Dozen" in regards to pesticides. They are recommended to be bought organic. I did not know this, and I enjoy strawberries quite often (except for times like now, because winter strawberries are sheeeeeit).

More fun facts, I drink water from a ZeroWater filter pitcher since it is great at removing the vast majority of contaminants from water, except I just learned according to a ConsumerLab study, it adds significant microplastics to the water...

Looks like it is time to install an under-sink RO system.

No kidding? Damn, I just seen an ad recently for a Brita water filer jug, and was considering buying one. I just wanted to research and make sure it takes out chlorine. But now...?

I'm pretty sure Brita is or is about to get sued after it came out their filters do fuck all.

Unfortunately some under-sink RO systems introduce micro plastics. Something to do with the underlying technology used to separate the molecules/ions using a plastic derived polymer. I found this out recently so I'm hoping more studies are done to discover exactly how much is introduced. Hoping it's a very small amount but here we are...

Yeah, I'm not sure if micro plastics even show up on a PPM meter or what. According to the ConsumerLabs study, water filtered through the ZeroWater had 12 times more plastic than the tap water they were filtering...

We have a gravity stainless steel barrel from Doulton + fluoride resin filter. Wasn't enthusiastic about anything else out there

They're also hand-picked due to their fragility, which means there's an increased risk of hepatitis contamination if being imported from some brownoid country (or from a producer with brownoid workforce).
