I just got a big sheet of Faraday fabric and did some tests with Bluetooth. To my surprise even a tiny opening lets the signal out. It's all folded up with the phone in the middle, and if the layers weren't pressed down all around the signal would leak. For whatever reason I saw the signals as not being able to "turn" inside the enclosure to get to holes. Apparently they can.

Just goes to show the importance of testing such shields before trusting them. Now I know it does work and need to find the holes in the enclosures I had tested before. So small velcro cases won't work if there is a small gap where the velcro holds it shut. Pretty cool stuff.
