Did I ever tell you, my first concert was OzzY in 1986 at Cal Expo Amphitheater in Sacramento? Metallica was too open for him but OzzY had wrecked his voice in San Jose the day or so prior and had to postpone. Metallica was set to tour in Europe and this OzzY show was their last US performance, so Blue Oyster Cult took their place two weeks later. Metallica was on their European tour when the bus wrecked and Cliff Burton died. I had the ticket to the last US date for Master of Puppets but didn’t get to see them because of Ozzys throat and Cliff Burton died.
