I notice the feminists around me complaining about various inconsequential things such as the glass ceiling, the wage gap, the gender imbalance in various (high status) professions, but I don’t think I’ve heard one talk about the constant sex crimes committed by Arab and African men, mostly Muslim. What is the reason for this? Surely, a sex crime is far more harmful to a woman’s life than a 23 cent an hour wage gap? Can somebody explain?
It strikes me as really and truly bizarre. I’m not a feminist myself but wouldn’t it stand to reason that there are much bigger fish to fry?
This whole situation is analogous to calling a repairman (*repairperson) to fix a leaky faucet while the house is on fire.
What am I missing? The feminists in my life seem very smart and aware of various offenses such as manspreading on the bus, white male privilege, catcalling, slut shaming, wardrobe policing, tampon tax, but I’ve never been made aware of these sex crimes by these feminists. Why doesn’t the attention get shifted to the larger issue? Is it because the reputable media doesn’t talk about it that it feels like it’s not happening? They actually seem to - on the other hand - want to display cultural sensitivity to the people who are overrepresented in these crimes.
It's called the progressive stack. An ever-shifting reordering of the victim hierarchy whenever it's politically expedient. Lefties and women, particularly feminists, believe that pitying victims makes them good people. Doesn't matter the circumstances or if they conflict or not. There are never any shortage of victims to grandstand and loudly proclaim your empathy and allyship with. You don't have to actually do anything or risk anything. You just have to chant the mantra and all the other cultists will applaud you for being stunning and brave.
The flipside is that if one of the cultists has a moment of clarity and notices this then the struggle sessions begin. Either they are shamed and brow-beaten back into submission or are branded a nazi or heretic. I think most people that fall into the lefty shit are cowards at heart to begin with and would rather die than being branded a heretic for using logic and critical thinking. I do wonder what the breakdown percentage-wise is though.

There's an explicit ideological alliance between feminism and racialism (both are in service to the communist goal of demoralizing western societies to make them vulnerable to communist revolution ala China, Russia).
Racialists seek to import massive amounts of immigrants to break up racial solidarity within a nation-state. This has the negative side effect of more sex crimes against native women because the imported migrants have different cultural understandings about women. But it's an accepted cost of the strategy because unless you dilute racial solidarity within a nation-state, it is very hard to make a communist revolution work. The attempted communist takeover of Weimar Germany was thwarted by WEIMAR germany, the most degenerate place in the world at the time. But there was enough pro-german germans to fight them off.
What feminists get out of this is that it's mainly MEN who get imported. This increases competition for women and increases female sexual marketplace value across the board, regardless of how badly they behave. You'll note that feminists are markedly cooler towards the importation of female migrants and outright hate men who marry women abroad and bring them home.
