Tomorrow the world's largest rocket will make it's third test flight. Window starts at 7am. Bigger than Saturn 5. Mass produced and fully reusable launching from east coast of Texas

This will do some demonstration landings on the water for the booster and they'll try to reentry for the second stage which is called the starship.

If you've never seen the early test of the starship and the way it comes in flat and then at the last second it rotates to land vertically you really should look at those YouTube videos.

First successful flip landing.

The testing program through to current design. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=K5Vw2ZDe-G0

This rocket will not be fully recovered. That's not the intention. They are trying to get to orbit and do some specific tests systems. And they will land the booster in the water where will sink but they're going to try to simulate a regular landing

When these are fully in production next year they're going to be taking off several times a day. SpaceX is going to build a fleet of about a thousand several will be in a constant 6-month journey to Mars and back. Several will be building a moon base. Many will be deploying more satellites and other things at what will become by far the cheapest launch rates ever in the history which should really transform our access to space.

More about the rocket they are testing from Elon

I really want Starship to succeed. It obviously won’t ever be landing on the Moon or Mars like its delusional marketing pictures, but it will cut the cost of high mass deep space launches by almost 90%, so maybe we can get some asteroid mining infrastructure in place before the phosphorus crisis kills 6 billion at the end of the century.

so maybe we can get some asteroid mining infrastructure in place

The costliest part of asteroid mining is just the initial investment on getting the hardware to orbit and then beyond. The eventual financial return on investment in asteroid mining would be roughly 1,000:1. Because the ride back DOWN the gravity well is almost free.

That's why the discovery of water ice anywhere in the system is such a big deal, because, crew survival aside, it would also let you set up self-sustaining refueling stations, allowing greater access to more of the system.

The wealth of rare earth elements like osmium, iridium, and the platinum group would allow us to shut down mining for them on Earth altogether as simply no longer being economical. A wealth of rare earth elements would then fuel yet another materials and subsequent tech revolution.

How will it do that son?

Let's see some math or shut up

The math is public. It’s not like it’s hard to find.

asteroid mining infrastructure
Tallest, i thought you were nihilist about everything. Your point is so absurd.

[ - ] Tallest_Skil 2 points 1 monthMar 14, 2024 10:03:32 ago (+2/-0)

Why is it absurd? We need “super heavy” lift vehicles to make getting the initial infrastructure up there economically palatable. Starship is the first step toward that. In a future in which whites continue to exist, it will be considered a small vessel.

I’m not a nihilist; I just see absolutely no future in which whites continue to exist since we refuse to defend ourselves in any capacity, anywhere, and no one seems able to disprove anything I’ve said on that topic. The phosphorus crisis will likely hit, 90% of the world’s population at the time (roughly 9 billion) will starve, and whites will be hunted to extinction sometime before 2100 because we’ll be “blamed” for it.

It will have been our fault, by the way. If not for whites obeying jews and feeding the rest of the world throughout the 20th century, Africa would still have no more than 200,000,000 niggers, and India and China would only have ~300,000,000 each. Meanwhile there would have been easily 2.5 billion whites in the world and our colonies would still be expanding and whitening. We’re responsible for feeding these populations into explosion, so we’re responsible for their food waste and the impoverishment of phosphorus from the soil.

Oh well. Doesn’t matter. No one wants to think about anything further out than where they’re going to get their next meal, fuck, or television show.

Brainlets and flat tards immediately start sweating

Sweat is dry. It says so right here in this book that's many hundreds of years old and was written by a diety. Don't you dare say my source is outdated, that's blasphemy!

Pores are fake and gay.

Elon will make it to Mars this time!

[ - ] Crackinjokes [op] 1 point 1 monthMar 13, 2024 21:26:38 ago (+1/-0)

Not trying for Mars this time. Just going for orbit and some testing of the systems. Then they're going to crash both pieces into the ocean.

Nah, I know Elon, we're best friends. He told me he's going to ride that giant dildo all the way!

1:14-1:26 totally real. (However it exploded about 8 minutes later. )
Come on, you really want to believe at least something, right?
going to be
going to build
Another soonfaggotry. You haven't learned.

P.S
Outcome:success, destroyed around 10min after landing
Absolute lel.

Dude the falcon 9 rocket is launched two times a week now. It lands and relaunches all the time. This is just a bigger rocket with different engines use methane.

I know this will not benefit humanity in any way so how will the jews use it for themselves or against us?

[ - ] 4thTurning 0 points 1 monthMar 14, 2024 02:57:03 ago (+0/-0)

They need it for war obviously.

The DOJ wants to release thousands of satellites not just dozens.

That's why it's happening and the govt keeps giving them a license to launch
