Of course in this case it by coincidence suggesting that people are getting better at avoiding deep-state manipulation. Gamergate 2 suggests these counter subversion tactics are becoming good enough world wide that the deep-state is in panic mode.

It pleases me immensely to know how monumentally butthurt GamerGate made them. One stupid bitch, one shitty sim it couldn't resist protecting by abusing untold levers of institutional power which took decades of infiltration and subversion to create, and they started losing hard.

They lost so hard that voting actually mattered momentarily, and they basically had to tell everyone to shut up and be defrauded as they amplified the circus.
