So they can have it on congressional record, so they can use it for campaign sound bites, so journalists can reference it in their panic clickbait for regime supporters, so congressman can turn around and shout on the news "oy vey, look at all the articles and news soundbites about muh extremism in gaming! We need to do something about muh extremism in gaming!" and then approve grants for 'studying extremism' that get laundered into the FBI's coffers or overseas for 'gender studies' in the third world, where its used to bribe warlords, or sent back to america in exchange for epstein type gifts to senators and congressmen.
