Rather than just consider eyecolor alone it may be more revealing if you incorporated data on iris size, bone structure (how far the eyes are set back in the skull and what type of bone structure is above them) and the light filtering abilities of different colors and thicknesses of eyelashes and eyebrows.
I wonder how much research is done on things like that but never made public.
That was a neat article though. I’ve always sort of noticed that blue eyed people tend to have better eyesight and see better in the dark.

According to voat, blue eyes evolved to avoid being blinded by DEW weapons; Space Lasers, in the parlance. Blue umbrellas, blue roofs, and blue eyes are the only survivors of DEW attacks.
