I got some of this from a friend and made it for my wife, not telling her what it was. She LOVED it. Then I told her and ducked. Let me tell you what: THAT was a full-stop. Although it was interesting to watch her brain short circuit in real time. The upshot was that we don't ever mention it again, although she will occasionally admit (very quietly) the civet cat shit coffee is really good. 10/10 would do again.

Personally I dislike all coffee so I never tried it.

I have an autodrip i got off the curb because it had a burr mill but I rarely drink coffee anymore so I found a small hand crank burr mill and 12 ounce french press at goodwill for under $10

Brewing:
- hot: palm press, aeropress, Usually metal filters.
- cold: large toddy for cold brewing and a small japanese ice brew system

Beans: Single origin Tandem Coffee (MA), Recluse Roasters (VA), or local stuff I won't reveal to avoid doxing.

I do the same as him. I have spent a few grand over the years on expensive coffee brewing apparatuses and then discovered instant. It’s insane how good and smooth it is. Try it you won’t be disappointed. Try different brands. They are all a little different to each other. All that other shit isn’t even on my counter anymore. It’s either in the basement or gone all together. I consider myself a coffee snob and i drink it black so the coffee being quality and full of flavor being important to me. I know it’s a paradox, but here I am.
