what the fuck is wrong with french? (serious)

i'm learning it for some personal reasons i'll not doxx myself over, im able to speak and learn it probably due to being 25% french, but what the fuck is wrong with the people who wrote the french language? where did they go so wrong as to create this linguistical monstrosity that someone would have to learn and speak?

i swear to fuck that German (english's weird autistic direct cousin), Russian (nyet, slavic language is fine) and even Korean (even though it's a sideways difficulty due to being in the tonal language family) are more sensible then this language.

this shit better get me laid later in life i swear.

I love German. Twenty letters for a noun, literally describing a thing is fun. Twelve versions of "the" sucks.

It is my understanding that most silent letters come from an ancestor language where it would have made sense, they just never dropped the letter for some retarded reason.

French actually distinguishes between 'I' and 'Igreque' (Greek i) or 'i' and 'y'

In old English y is TH so YE OLDE SHOPPE is still 'the old shop' no letter for TH in Latin type face it's from German thorn so y got borrowed because we have I.

i played the fuck out of widowmaker, but then they banned me for asking in the forums why pharah wasn't in a kitchen wearing a burqah lol

it's been legit years since i needed the language and i'd need to relearn it to speak or read it again. it's about a 4/10 on the difficulty scale once you get past the tonal thing, becuase one guy was like "fuck this, i'm writing my own language with blackjack and hookers. fuck chinese, and the horse it rode in on too"

the amount of redundant and unused silent letters in english is quite literally 1-10% of the silent letters in french. french puts them in common grammar and words and has been too busy fucking and eating baqquettes to get rid of them for literal centuries.
