I'm in my bush cabin (on my property) and just got the woodstove fired up. I had to open the window to clear the air of smoke and as I do so a hawk swoops in right in front of the window and picks off a starling. I've seen it often here but it made me think of how life goes.
One minute everything is going well...in a split second everything can change and life is no more.
It's that simple...we're all starlings...we'll never hear that hawk swooping in on us and it will happen when least expected.
@VitamineSieg...I need every hawk, owl and eagle I can get here and those starlings are destructive to eves and soffit and the pigeons will eat the stone out of roof shingles to where an "8 square" roof has the peak line picked down to the paper...I'm with the raptors
